Q:1. Is your website secure?

A: Yes. We use an encrypted security protocol provided by VeriSign, a leading online security provider. The encrypted connection requires all information sent between the client (your computer) and the server (I DRIVE SAFELY’s systems). In addition, all data sent over an encrypted connection is protected with a mechanism for detecting tampering - that is, automatically finding and tracking data that has been altered in transit.

Q:2. What should I do if the pages on the site are not loading properly?

A: This type of problem is typically caused by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and higher internet traffic loads. As a first step, you may want to disconnect your internet connection and reconnect. If that doesn’t solve the problem, we recommend disconnecting and returning at a later time when internet traffic is not as heavy. If the problem persists, you may call a customer support representative at 800-990-2813.

Q:3. I forgot my password. How can I find out what it is?

A: Click the "forgot password" link on the top right portion of the page. After you enter your email address, we will email your login name and password to this address.

Q:4. What payment methods do you offer?

A: You may make your payment online by using either a credit card, bank debit card with a Visa/MasterCard logo, or a personal check through our secure server. If you are uncomfortable making your payment online (see why online payments to us are secure), you may contact a customer support representative at 800-990-2813 and make your payment over the phone.

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards.

Q:7. How long does it take for my certificate to be printed?

A: Our certificates are processed Monday-Friday at 3:00 PM Pacific Time (5:00 PM Central Time). If you complete the course after 3:00 PM, your certificate will be processed the next business day.

Q:8. What certificate delivery options do I have?

A: We offer multiple delivery options. Your course tuition includes Regular Mail delivery at no extra charge (please allow 5 business days for receipt). For your convenience, we also offer premium delivery services for an additional fee. Overnight Morning delivery costs an additional $24.95, and gets the certificate to you the next business day before 12:00 PM. Regular Overnight delivery costs an additional $19.95, and gets the certificate to you by 5:00 PM the next business day. 2-day Express delivery costs an additional $14.95 and gets the certificate to you by the second business day before 5:00 PM (please note: holiday and weekend deliveries are not included with any of these options).

Q:9. How can I get an extra or replacement copy of my certificate?

Q:10. When am I eligible to take the Teen Learners Permit course?

Q:11. How long does it take to complete the Teen Drivers Permit course?

Q:12. Is there a time limit to complete the course?

A: Yes. You must complete the course within 180 days of registration (sign up). Any student that has not successfully completed the course within 180 days will be terminated without notice and will not be eligible for a refund.

Q:13. How do you select the questions that I will be asked a quiz?

A: Quiz questions are pulled randomly from a pool of questions developed for this course.

Q:14. How long is the final exam?

A: The length of the final exam varies from state to state, but includes between 25 and 50 questions. The exam can usually be completed within 90 minutes.

Q:15. What should I do if I believe there is an error in the course material?

A: At the bottom of each course page there is a button you can click that will e-mail your comments to us to review and verification. We appreciate your input!

Q:16. Do I need to enter a comment on every page?

A: No. We have a button on every page because it is easier to associate a specific comment with a particular page in order to find the material in the question. All "leave a comment" buttons are entirely optional.

Q:17. What are the software and system requirements for the course?

A: Minimum browser requirements are the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) 4.0 or greater, Netscape version 6.0 or greater or any other browsers that provide equal or greater functionality. In addition, the browser needs to be equipped with Adobe Flash Player 8.0 or higher. This plug-in is entirely free and is made available from our website [URL here] for download and installation. Your browser also needs to support Java and JavaScript. The minimum computer hardware required is such that it should be able to support the software configuration listed above. The course requires the use of a pointing device such as a mouse. The course recommends that your computer be equipped with speakers.

Q:18. What is your course completion policy?

A: You must complete all phases of the approved curriculum in order to receive your certificate of completion. Any time missed must be made up. The school is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the student has not met all the requirements for course completion.

Q:19. What is your course cancellation/refund policy?

A: A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 30 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 180 days (see time limit to complete the course). All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the school, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the school, or representation made by the owner or employee of the school. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.

Q:20. What is your testing and grading policy?

A: Each chapter contains a quiz or quizzes that review important content from that chapter. The quizzes do not affect your final exam score but will provide you with an excellent opportunity to master the course material. You also must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course.

Q:21. What is your operation and conduct policy?

A: No credit or completion will be given if the course is completed by anyone other than you or if you are assisted by an outside party. When you enroll in the course you are stating under penalty of perjury that you, and not another person, studied the material in its entirety and completed that chapter quizzes and the final exam. By registering for the course, you understand that is may be a felony to make false statements or to falsify documents submitted by the court.
